Quote# 119032

Hitler wanted to kill Jews, why oh why throughout all his speeches and manuscripts and his book Mein Kampf did he not mention this? Did he just forget? No, he didn’t say or write it BECAUSE HE HAD NO INTENTION OF KILLING THE JEWS. No matter what amount of destruction he had observed done by the Jews to his people; he had enough self-discipline and ethical code not to take revenge. Being a strong character, he was able to rise above the darkness, the demonic standards of the judaic mindset and show self-restraint and humility. That is why he created ‘containment work camps’ for the Jews and certainly NOT death camps.

Because he was one of the good guys.

He cared about conditions for the Jews in the work camps. Unbeknown to billions of people the Nazi camps were not death camps, nor were they places to carry out human experiments. They were simply containment camps. Something had to be done with these destructive anti-social Jews who were strangling Germany. Thanks to the Jews, Germany had lost it’s moral code and had become debased and de-cultured ….does that ring a bell? Something had to be done! And Hitler did do something – he placed all the Jews in containment camps to allow Germany to breath again. But – this is the key point in this essay/piece. He did it in a way which was ethical. The camps had decent sufficient food (bearing in mind it was war time), they had theaters, swimming pools, football pitches, post offices where inmates could communicate to the outside world, kindergartens, art and music recreation and even prostitutes. Quality sanitation within the camps was paramount and that is why the inmates clothes were regularly de-loused with zyclon B gas. There were no human gas chambers……THAT IS A BIG FAT KOSHER LIE; to which the world has had to endure for over half a century. My theory is that if there had not have been a war effort, Hitler would not have even made the Jews work. AND I bet you the containment camps would have been luxury rehabilitation centers. In order to slowly de-programme the Jews from their mind control cult.

Ah so all those high ranking Nazi war criminals were just lying, and so were the prisoners in the camps, not just Jews, and the Soviets, and the Americans.

So where did between 5.5 and 6 million Jews GO, exactly?

Oh the entire rant is glorious:

"It was his internal spiritual angst for him to be fighting (defending) amongst his European brothers and sisters. He did all he could to avoid war, he was not the warmonger we all have been led to believe."

All he could, indeed, except avoid invading Poland when he'd already been told not to.

It's deny all the evidence time in fundieland again. Someone should really send this person to Auschwitz but knowing them, the evidence they see there will probably have been "planted" to make the Nazis look bad.

Billy Butlin.

Prior to WWII, he had an idea: A week's holiday for a week's pay. Where - with a few exceptions - all amenities & entertainment were included in the price.

So he set up these facilities at Skegness. The experiment worked. So he set up similar facilities elsewhere. But unfortunately WWII broke out, so for the war effort, he handed over these newly-built - or yet-to-be-built - camps over to the War Office for use as training facilities for the military, who finished the building of such for him.

The military - via government Time & Motion officials - even took on board his camp's regimen in the catering facilities, as they were found to be ultra-efficient, and were used in other military units.

After WWII, the government handed these camps back to Billy Butlin, who turned these - and more besides - into an institution that became ingrained in the nation's psyche & culture (if not for the Skegness & Filey camps, there wouldn't have been The Beatles, as Ringo Starr & Paul McCartney played at these places. Also, so many established entertainers started out as 'Redcoats' at these camps).

Right up to the change in ownership in the early 1980s - and demolition of all but three camps - those who worked there always spoke very highly of their employer, who never abused his staff in any way, least of all economically; they, like the holidaymakers, thought he was a thoroughly decent person. And as a result of his very generous giving to charities (and fundraising for such), he became Sir Billy Butlin.

'Out True Intent Is All For Your Delight': a phrase coined by him, which is used as the advertising slogan for the three existing Butlins camps (Skegness, Bognor Regis & Minehead).

And all because he was one of the good guys.

He has a memorial on the island of Jersey, which ends with the words 'He was never too tall to stoop to help the underprivileged'.

I don't know about today, but in all the years our family went to Filey every year from 1969-1982, one would sometimes see people wearing T-shirts or badges with 'Butlitz Escape Committee' on them. An 'Ironic' joke; a proto-meme.

I trust what you're saying here is purely 'Ironic' too, o OP.

In our visit to Butlins Filey in 1976 (which I remember particularly, as that was during the 'Great Heatwave' that year) we were surprised to meet my uncle, who was there for the day (as he was visiting a friend who lived in the area; he decided to check out the Filey camp too). He was a soldier during WWII.

Who was part of the Allied troops that liberated Bergen-Belsen.

Oh, I'm afraid that what he witnessed - and as a result of sharing his rations with a few of the poor souls there who were malnourished, ensured their survival until further supplies could be brought, he has to this day a pocket watch on a stand made of wood from part of that camp that one of those survivors gave to him to prove it - only serves to completely destroy your Big Fat Nazi Lie.

...and besides, are those immigrants at what was Sir Billy's camp at Mosney in Ireland terrorists...?!

Even taking the testimony of Jewish survivors out of the equation, you have to be remarkably, window lickingly stupid to actually believe any of this.
You have to be able to discount all of the other evidence, the testimony from the perpetrators, the testimony from non Jewish survivors, the forensic evidence, wartime air photo's of the camps, contemporary German documentation, contemporary ENIGMA decrypts of classified German communications, contemporary film and photographs of mass executions and the eyewitness reports of the Allied forces who liberated the camps.
Suffice to say, if you are the sort of person who believes this crap then you almost certainly believe that Nigeria has a royal family with access to billions of untraceable dollars.

Oh please let this guy go to Germany and say all of this publicly. He'll be off the streets for the next five years:

(3) Mit Freiheitsstrafe bis zu fünf Jahren oder mit Geldstrafe wird bestraft, wer eine unter der Herrschaft des Nationalsozialismus begangene Handlung der in § 6 Abs. 1 des Völkerstrafgesetzbuches bezeichneten Art in einer Weise, die geeignet ist, den öffentlichen Frieden zu stören, öffentlich oder in einer Versammlung billigt, leugnet oder verharmlost.

You'd think these boneheads would embrace the reality of the whole Nazi Death Camp thing and go, "See?! FEAR US! *evil laugh*".

However; I guess there's big propaganda value in denying something that you would actually support and LOVE to do, again!

Wouldn't it be easy for them to say that the death camps did happen but those were people going against Hitler's will, keeping that had their best interests in mind but other Nazi were twisting his ideals? It works so well for Christianity.

@Anon-e-moose: the core proposition of Holocaust denialism is this:

"The holocaust totally never happened, but it would be a swell idea if it really did."

You can probably cut it down a bit for the sake of brevity and elegance. But there it is.

And a piece of anecdata, because, as we all know from our years hanging around FSTDT, personal anecdotes trump everything. So here goes.

My grandfather was a raging, abusive alcoholic bastard to boot, and racist to the core. Being born in 1914 in Arkansas will do that. He came from a long, long line of people just like him. At least my particular spur of the family line ended it.

But he was also a veteran of the Second World War. And as much as he disliked nonwhites, he absolutely loathed Germans with a passion, unfairly or no. Once or twice in my living memory, I remember him making the comment to my father, a veteran of a much younger war, that "Ike dropped atomic bombs on the wrong country."

When I was about nine, I found out why. I was living next door to them, and I volunteered to help with his care as he died. I rarely saw the awful side of him. He doted on all of his grandchildren, even if he'd been a hateful shit to his own family.

He still had pictures he and some of his buddies had taken at Buchenwald in 1945. He was barely able to walk when he showed them to me--emphysema and COPD killed him within the next year. He kept them in a box under his bed, and he showed them to me as he talked about it--he'd been quite the shutterbug when he was young, but he'd mostly given that up as he got older. I guess it was a core dump; he'd talked about some of his experiences in the war with his family and with his wife, but I don't know how much he shared with me about it that he didn't tell them, or vice-versa. I know only what he told me, and what he told me was of what it was like seeing people too sick and weak from hunger and disease and abuse to stand, or literally dying of exhaustion on the latrine, of being able to smell the stench of shit and decomposing bodies miles downwind. Yeah, that was probably the detail he came back to the most: the smell. Of trying to help people in a barracks while fighting the urge to gag at their stench. Of seeing Germans who absolutely didn't notice it, because their sense of smell was so habituated to the omnipresent stink that they didn't pay any attention to it anymore, and desperately wanting them dead because how the fuck could ANYONE even remotely sane and normal stand to be there?

It put a lot of his behavior in later decades into perspective. He came home with a washing compulsion and he used deodorants and cologne like a fucking lunatic. Unless he was blackout drunk, which did happen occasionally, he normally took three showers or baths a day.

When I see morons like this thick turd babbling about how the holocaust was a hoax, I just think back to ol' papaw, spilling his guts in that wheezy whisper as he showed me photo after photo, and marvel that people like this can manage to avoid choking to death whenever it rains. Fuck them right in their ears.

This does ring a bell; the same old "The Jews are bad" as has been reiterated for hundreds of years. You've really swallowed the bait, hook-line-and-sinker, dearie.

The camps might have started as containment work camps, but they quickly escalated to extermination camps, as there was not room for hundreds of thousands of people in each camp. So, along with these imaginary theatres, pools and football pitches, they had real gas chambers and crematoriums.

If their clothes were fumigated, so where their lungs, dumbass! Zyklon B interferes with cellular respiration.

So, where did the 6 million Jews and 1 million Roma people who are missing, disappear to? Not to mention the many thousands of gays, disabled, Communists etc who were sent away to camps and never heard of again...

Mmhmm. Pretty sure my tour of Auschwitz didn't include a theater, swimming pool, football pitch, etc., but there was damn sure at least one gas chamber still standing.

And what happened to the 6 million missing? They committed collective suicide?

5/18/2016 5:22:44 AM

Churchy LaFemme

Some of the Holocaust deniers claim that the 6 million Jews and others who died did so because the Allied bombing disrupted the rail lines, so the kindly Germans weren't able to get food and supplies to the "work camps." So essentially, it's the fault of the Allies that all those poor victims died.
