"Give not your strength to women, nor thy ways to them that ruin kings." Prov. 31:3.
Christian men are kings and priests. We are not to give our
strength to women. They are not to rule, hold authority or teach but to remain silent and submissive in the assemblies. It is interesting that the above was instruction by a mother to her son. This wise woman understood it was not for man to raise up woman into a position she was never meant to hold by God.
It sad when men love to have women rule over them and abdicate their kingship. Proves how much they hate God's order and despise their duty to be men.

The Bible is packed with stupid verses, isn't it?
"Christian men are kings and priests."
In my experience many Xian men are deluded morons.

Says you and your book of ancient fairy tales.
"It is interesting that the above was instruction by a mother to her son."
No, it's not really that interesting.
"This wise woman understood it was not for man to raise up woman into a position she was never meant to hold by God."
Well, I think I understand the meaning of your train-wreck of a sentence. The woman is not that wise and she is fictional like your God.
"It sad when men love to have women rule over them and abdicate their kingship."
That's just pig-headed and stupid. Also, no matter how much you may wish is was true, you have no "kingship" to abdicate.
"Proves how much they hate God's order and despise their duty to be men."
Or, it proves that some men value equality of the sexes and are not deluded into thinking that because they have penises that they have some particular authority over people without penises.
I think Rick is a closet masochist, looking for a mistress...
Sigh...why do I always get the STUPID ones??
MD: No, sweetie, it's all part of the insulting process that goes along with the "good stuff". This wouldn't be your first time, now would it??
We should encourage guys like this. The Christian churches would grind to a halt once their women find out that they are second class members and stop helping.
McCulloch, sadly most of this crap comes out of women's mouths. There's a special circle of hell for women who don't help other women in this world. Thus spake Madeline Albright.
1. You owe your entire existence to a woman.
2. There were many great women leaders in the bible *Le Gasp* Easter and Deborah for example.
3. There were many great women leaders throught history. For example, Hatshesput, Cleopatria, Queen Elizabeth, Pocahontas, Rosa Parks, and those are barely even a handful.
4. *Assuming your American* Our next president may be a woman. Get over it.

"I coulda been a contendah."___________Marlon Brando
I see...
Its a sad day when people pick their rulers over their gender or the colour of their skin. Welcome to the downfall of your country. We pick our leaders by what they stand for.
Hell! How do these guys get ladies? Even rappers are not this misogynistic and they have Money in tonnes!
Wait... Hang on. Did he say this was an instruction from a woman? This means that the entire statement is a non sequitor. Its like the statement "I always lie". So a woman told you not to take orders from women... So should you listen to her? What the hell is she doing dishing out advice when she should be making biblical sandwiches?
Something tells me he has to meet Queen Elizabeth the First. Arguably one of the strongest rulers that the UK ever had, defeating not just the Spanish but holding on to a fair few colonies, wresting control of the West Indies and the Spice trade from the Dutch and generally declaring the UK as a super power... OH WAIT that is technically impossible in your words!

A paradox,
A paradox,
A most ingenious paradox,
Ah ah ha ha ha
A paradox.________________Gilbert & Sullivan
Typical cherry-picking. They have taken it out of context and totally mininterpreted the meaning.
It's actually talking about rulers doing their jobs of judging righteously and defending the helpless, not spending their time drinking and carousing with women.
It says nothing about women not being leaders and is, in fact, said by a woman advising her son, who is king, how to behave.
Confused?
