Modern geology is derived from Norse pagan religion? This one is new to me. Did he just make it up randomly?

Funny how religious people think the best way to attack science is to describe it as a religion.

I live in Florida. Try telling that to the sharks and alligators.

Humankind is at the mercy of a great number of microbes. Who really has dominion over whom?

\"Naziism itself was a religion that was largly based on the Norse pagan religion--where also evolutionist derive their geological framework.\"
Forget this heretical \"plate tectonics\" fantasy, REAL geologists know that earthquakes are really caused not by stresses within the crust but by Loki thrashing in his bonds.

Aw, and I thought Nazism was a political movement based on racial superiority theories and the deveolpment of militant nationalism and fascism - but I see I've been wrong all this time! It's a Norse pagan religion!

_Origen learned everything he knows about
Nazi mysticism by playing Castle Wolfenstein.
As far as evolutionary theory being based on Norse religion: It must have been painful to pull one that huge out of his ass. And then there's this:
\"
There is no evidence that that verse is an error\"
There is no evidence that that verse is correct either.

I think you are among the most unfit to be expounding on what humanists do or do not believe.
Geology is based on Norse mythology? WTF?
Humans ARE animals, you bonehead. No matter how disagreeable or threatening you find that, it is a fact.
\"The book of Genesis says that God gave mankind 'dominion' over all the wildlife on earth. There is no evidence that that verse is an error.\"
Of course, there is no evidence that your God exists nor that the book of Genesis is anything but a poorly written creation myth ripped-off by its authors from pre-existing pagan myths.

How many fundies are going to read this and just take it as (shudder) gospel?
Norse Pagans = Nazis = Evolution = Geology? WTF indeed.

Hm. Methinks somebody could benefit from a grade school biology refresher.
\"The book of Genesis says that God gave mankind \"dominion\" over all the wildlife on earth. There is no evidence that that verse is an error.\"
I propose that we test this hypothesis by placing the OP in a small, locked room with say, a horde of rabid weasels, a starving bear.. or perhaps a couple monkeys infected with a particularly virulent strain of the ebola virus. My guess is we'd see evidence disproving this supposed \"dominion\" pretty quickly.

I keep wondering why it's so common among creationists to leave out the -s at the ends of \"evolutionists\" or \"humanists\" - one rarely observes this type of error elsewhere.

Actually, better not tell him the sources for the entire myth of Christ originated on the subcontinent.
