The theory of evolution is more than just a theory of science; its a way of thought. Evolutionary humanism is the philosophy of naturalistic behavior in humanity. The communist and the Nazis expounded on this (failed) philosophy. Naziism itself was a religion that was largly based on the Norse pagan religion--where also evolutionist derive their geological framework.
Humanist believe in the survival of the fittest mentality in humanity without acknowledging the simple fact that mankind is not part of the animal kingdom. We humans are greater than the animals. The book of Genesis says that God gave mankind "dominion" over all the wildlife on earth. There is no evidence that that verse is an error.
