Quote# 1173
I read the Epic of Gelgamesh, but it wasn't as perfect as the story of Noah
It isn't difficult anyway to write a story about some flood and a youngster who made an ark to survive it
It's a mere coincidence... the same way u can write a story, and then later know that someone wrote the same story years ago
Moses didn't take nothing from old religions
He had his teachings from God himself

The epic of gilgamesh is almost a thousand years older that the old testament. So i don't think it's any coincidence that the story of moses resembles it.

You mean Gilgamesh? One of the very first stories ever actually recorded?
Lawl.
Dunno who this "Gelgamesh" is though...

Noah's story isn't perfect (no story is, really). That story has so many holes, the ark sank. The whole global flood thing just doesn't hold water.
(I couldn't resist a few puns...)

Oh? And I suppose while any kid can concoct a story of making a boat to survive a worldwide flood, a guy saying he speaks for God to get people to follow him is inconceivable, eh?

I read ....... story of Noah
Firstly, there aren't any degrees of perfection; something is either perfect or not.
Secondly, exactly what makes the Noah story "perfect"?
It isn't difficult ....... survive it
Exactly.
It's a mere ....... same story years ago
Yeah, but you claim your story actually happened, which is very different altogether.
Moses didn't take nothing from old religions
Double-negative fail, well done.
