The OT was the covenant with the Jews not Christians.
It was for people in a different country at a different time. And no matter what you call this thread you cannot use it to poke at subjects that are nothing to do with the Lords Prayer.

There is no mind set to condemn or defend. That was that covenant. But today for Christians they cannot be homosexual in practice because the body is to be used for Gods Glory not mans lusts or to sin in any way.
Christ is for Christians and homosexuality is for homosexuals. Christians are not allowed to take part in any sexual behaviour considered sin. They cannot sleep with prostitutes and they have to remain in unity with God.

So not really anything to do with Christianity is it?

The OT is the Word of God. Of course, the true Christian reads and understands it in historical, texual, and situational context, whereby we know that certain things are a matter of historical record, others are a command to or a law unto Jews only, some has only been issued temporarily, and yet others still hold true for everybody.

Regarding sodomites, Bible makes it clear that they are children (John 8:44) of the devil (Romans 1). They chose satan over Jesus and Jesus gave them up to their own reprobate minds. It is their choice to lust after feces, and the Bible tells us they are worthy of death. (Note to intellectually inferior heathen, "worthy of death" is not a command to kill them--it simply states that they deserve death.)

Most gay people probably don't lust after feces, but I do agree that scat is disgusting. And I disagree that someone who just happens to like someone of the same sex is an automatic child of the devil. You know you can be a "sodomite," as you so rudely call it, and worship the living God at the same time?
You don't just randomly decide to think that a guy is hot. You can't choose to be in love. It's just something that happens. Even if God didn't make you that way. In fact, the Bible only condemns gay sex. And God is a forgiving God, and if you're a gay Christian and can't resist having sex, it doesn't matter because God will forgive anything.

And please point out where your J-boy condemns homosexuality in the NT: particularly that of your QJV, authorised by King James I, who was as gay as they come.

In this case she has a point. It has nothing to do with Christ as it is merely consenting adults. What was done in the name of Christ and god historically the victims I doubt consented to being killed off or forced conversion so they might live on.

And here we see Jerry come back and again fail to fathom what homosexuality actually is. And if they do choose satan (which they probably don't as they can be of any belief system.) it is because of people like Jerry proselytizing the way they do. He has also forgotten that rendering onto Caesar what is Caesar and rendering onto god what is god's. Unless his calling America a Christian Nation means he would've thought Caesar was god. And Romans 13:1-7 prove him wrong, after all we are secular. God has not turned it over. Perhaps god prefers secularism. And notice theocracies are third world nations.
