Ok, let's just think about this. A few billion years ago our planet came into existence by a big bang. Our planet happened to be within inches of burning or freezing if it moved to or away from the sun. Next, a cell, a piece of bacteria or whatever just formed out of nowhere. It had perfect conditions to grow. No heat, cold. snow. It had air and everything it needed to grow. After millions of years it grew into a monkey and other thousands of species whom were ALL asexual. Now ALL due to random chance a female and male monkey formed at the same time. Each developing reproduction systems that were made to come together.

This was all by random chance????? Do you realize how DUMB and idiotic this sounds???? That two animals formed at the SAME time to reproduce????? Oh wait, I know they were asexual and the female popped out a male and female to mate. Oh brother, what a lie!!!!!

It takes MORE faith to believe in this garbage than to believe there is a creator who created us all.

I know learning is difficult, but I think it would greatly benefit you to at least try.

Where'd you get the idea that Earth's orbit was perfectly circular? (Let me guess: the Buybull, right?) News flash: the distance between Earth and our sun varies by millions of miles each and every year. To date, the planet has yet to become a huge snowball or marshmallow.

Indeed, I do, and I'm hardly the only one. That's probably why it's not what anyone in the scientific community has ever actually said. Obvious straw-man is obvious.

Erm, no to all you said. Our planet did not come into existence by a big bang. About 10 million years AFTER the Big Bang, our solar system formed, through gravity. A lot of balls formed in orbit around a yellow dwarf. Two or three planets were near enough to possibly sustain life, but so far we've only found life on Earth, and perhaps signs of water on Mars. Earth's orbit around the yellow dwarf varies a lot more than just a few inches; more like thousands of miles.

Non-living organisms emerged, perhaps from space, perhaps from the primordial sea; we don't know. Through abiogenesis some of the organisms became living organisms. The life-forms adapted to the environment, that’s why it seems to fit so well.

Air, as in oxygen, didn't emerge for quite some time, and when it did it killed off some 90 percent of all living things, only the few who were immune to its toxicity survived.

Sexual reproduction came very early on, long before the life-forms split into different kingdoms. A billion years later or so, the first life-forms left the ocean. A mere 2 million years ago or so, Man split from its closest relative, Chimpanzee.

Your feeble strawman "grasp" on, well; everything, is indeed DUMB and idiotic. If only you had listen during class, dearie, you wouldn't sound quite so dimwitted now.

It takes no faith whatsoever to accept the very solid and often-observed process of evolution.

Congratulations, that's just what the beardy old fraud "Wise Men" did to come up with their crackpot God theories too. Meanwhile, science takes measurements and makes observations.

The first step is admitting you have a handicap when it comes to envisioning large numbers. Perhaps, like dyslexia, it can be overcome with hard work and time. After that, maybe you should tackle the difference between causality and "random chance." A chemistry class might help you to understand how some things happen in a predictable way. Do all of this instead of letting some ignorant and superstitious book do all the thinking for you, and maybe next time you write something down, it won't hang around your neck like a giant "I'M STUPID!" sign.

Once the sun and earth formed billions of years after the big bang..the Earth's orbit and distance from the sun varies alot more than inches..

Um no. Even bacteria swap genetic material. Evolution couldn't happen without sex.

The way you're describing this not-evolution, not universe big bang sounds very dumb,yes,I agree.

There was, not one thing true in OP's statement. Even their straw-man was false. This is not even wrong territory.

Firstly, the big bang didn't form our planet, our planet was formed by the gravitational attraction of matter from the very forge of stars building for eons.

Our planet moves more than a few inches out of a perfect circular orbit, like a 5 million mile difference of aphelion and perihelion. I'll leave it to the esteemed FSTDT commenters to sort out the biology bit.

As for random chance, long answer yes, short answer no.

Its far more complicated then that. Though the individual occurrences that lead to Earth are rare, there are billions of galaxies out there. The likelihood of there being at least one earth like planet in the universe is pretty high given the size of the universe both in space and time. In fact, there are probably many life harboring planets in our galaxy. Probably not anywhere close enough for us to Star Trek around, but who knows.

Randomness of the earth being earth aside, the conditions, assuming they're met, follow logical and natural chains of events based on physical and chemical principles.

So it is random chance that you, yes you are here, but not random that life formed in the universe.
