If one chooses to marry one of their own gender rather than the other, isn't that gender-based discrimination? #whenyoustopandthinkaboutit

well, stricto sensu, he's right. Homosexuality is a kind of rejection of the other sex.
But it stops here. After all, being heterosexual does not mean you are an intolerant bastard if you don't sleep with every member of the other gender.
ergo, WTF.
Wut? What is this, what even is this?
This is some very advanced stupidity we've got here, people.
@ Exatron
It seems that when they're trying to be clever they're even dumber than usual. Go figure.
If this is true, isn't it also the case that marrying someone of a different gender is also gender-based discrimination? Does this then mean that polygamy should be legalized, in the name of avoiding gender discrimination?
If one only considers the other gender when choosing a mate, is that affirmative action run ammuck?

Isn't marrying just one member of the opposite sex discriminating against every other member of the opposite sex based on your personal preferences?
Isn't marrying a member of the opposite sex discriminating against the same sex?
Isn't marrying a person discrimating against blow up dolls and unfairly competing with the industry?
It's discrimination. It's not gender-based discrimination. You have selected your mate out of the entire human population. Choosing what tie to wear with what shirt is also discrimination. Choosing a doughnut at the doughnut shop is also discrimination. There is nothing inherently wrong with discrimination. The semantic cesspool in which we live has abbreviated it from "racial discrimination" a la the 1960's. What is meant is, "prejudice", or racial/gender bias or bigotry.
The term, "Chauvinist" has had equally poor treatment.
You should rename your site, "Stupid's Weird Wika."
My favorite Jewish mother joke: she gives her son two sweaters for his birthday. He expresses his gratitude, runs from the room, then returns wearing one. She asks, "You didn't like the other?"

Short answer:
No
Longer answer:
What the fuck is wrong with you people? Was there a national drop your baby on it's head day years ago? Can you not figure out the damn difference because your six and dumb?
Middle understanding answer:
You'd have a small point if you could present same sex couples who object to the mixed traditional (and still vast majority) couplings. There's a few, but they're not taken seriously by most.
"This is my collection of politically incorrect, homophobic, conservative junk. Feel free to comment below or yell at me here, I enjoy arguing." -This was at top of first post...
assumption much?

Yeah. And if Sargent Shriver was such a good buddy of the Kennedys', how come he never made lieutenant? Plus, what despicable thing did poor Monroe Ashbury do to prompt San Francisco to name an entire district of the city "Hate Ashbury"?
Hahaha, very funny. If we use your logic, I must be as hardcore of a misandrist as certain radfems here since I refuse to date men and would never marry a man since I happen to have been born a heterosexual.
@Sharon Young
Well, TECHNICALLY it is. The word "discrimination", in its most technical definition, means to be able to make distinctions and judgments when considering different items, data, etc.
Although I don't really think Da Weirdo knew that.
I guess we should all be bisexuals, then, just to avoid discrimination.
Good enough of a reason for me. :P
Confused?
