(in response to someone arguing about an Alabama Sheriff having scripture put on some county patrol vehicles)
Don't forget to have "In God We Trust" removed from all your money too!
You know, in the name of your misguided understanding of 'separation of church and state' and all. Must just be burning holes in your pockets, huh?
Liberals. How they are consistent! You have to give them that.
Their absolute fear and hatred for God is legendary! Many even troll Christian websites DAILY, peeing their pants with worry that the Christians will manage to change the laws back to their proper moral form. As they were when America was truly blessed by Almighty God instead of her current status as the bizarre laughing stock of the world. Yes, be afraid liberal trolls. BE VERY AFRAID! :)

Come to think of it, was "In God We Trust" always on our coinage? It really is high time we excised it, along with the Pledge of Allegiance, or at least its later "under God" element.
(Demon Duck of Doom)
"Both were added in 1954, as part of the Red Scare."
Added to paper money, yes. However, it's been on U.S. coins since the Civil War.
Old Viking beat me to the punch regarding why the US is a laughing stock.
I would love to see that junk taken off our currency and out of the Pledge of Allegiance. Why would you trust a God that (allegedly):
Threw Adam and Eve out of the Garden in a fit of rage, even though He didn't have to put the tree there in the first place, and they couldn't know right from wrong until they ate the fruit?
Flooded the planet, and threatened to rain fire down the next time?
Killed the Egyptian first-born, including newborn babies, presumably? (Is that why "right-to-lifers" stop giving a crap after birth?)
Allegedly engineers every natural disaster because of "His wrath?"
Yeah, I trust that maniac!
The US motto is "E Pluribus Unum," a phrase so out of use and context these days that spell check doesn't even recognize it. "In God we Trust" is the motto of 'Murica!
Since I don't believe in god, I neither fear nor hate it.
I have lots of liberal friends who are religious. They say their god agrees with them. Some are Jewish, some are baptist (yes, liberal baptists!), some are catholic, some are Buddhist, some are even Muslim.
Liberals come in many flavors. My guess is, the only liberal you know is the straw liberal from talk radio and far right teevee.
@ Raspberry:
Well, I've never been much of a peace-loving guy but right now, I think it's probably stir-crazy. I'm not going to go into details here but an illness has rendered me largely housebound so I'm climbing the walls here (or would be if I could stand).
@Ebon
I've been there myself both mentally and physically and I know as good as anyone else about the need to vent. Sorry to hear you are in a bad way and I hope you have a quick recovery.
Perhaps you could have someone bring your lawnmower into the house for you so you can practice your pick-up lines to help stave off the boredom ? I find a compliment aimed at the shape of the muffler has a fairly high success rate.
The most infuriating thing about you, The Smug Trump, is that your ignorance is vast across a wide range of subjects, but you still lord it over anyone as if you speak from a position of significant authority. You don't have a true understanding of separation of church and state if you think a secular democracy, as the founding fathers of your nation intended it to be, should allow religion to be given influence over the laws of the country. It should be perfectly understandable as to why liberals continue to oppose any attempts to shatter the separation between state and religious influence, but you fail to grasp this. It is not because we hate God, as we don't hate something that doesn't exist, but we hate the idea that we should obey laws that many think should be enforced to please the morals of their deity when we, and other non-Christians, don't see them as necessary. The only way for all religions, and non-religions, to be treated equally and fairly is through secularism.
Last Trump's problem is a simple one. He's an asshole. Always mocking, always indignant, always self-righteous, and God help me, so unbelievably SMUG even when he's blatantly, ridiculously wrong.

I would if I could. Funny how Christians always talking about money being the root of all evil but insisting that their god's name be put on it.
@Dr. Razark:
I have a Dremel tool with which I could grind off the word "God" from coins if I really wanted to, but with the huge amount of coins we have on hand, who has that kind of time to waste? I'd rather sit down and read a good ebook on my tablet.
Though with the few bills which cross through my hands (since I use debit card most of the time these days) it is fun to piss off the fundies by crossing out "God" and writing something like "There is no god. It's just superstition" and getting the bills back into circulation. Or for extra hilarity, cross out "God" and write "Allah" above it. You just know some ultraconservative fundie will see it and get pissed off.
@ Raspberry:
Thanks. I needed that laugh.
@ Doubting_Thomas:
Modern fundies disavow the "money is the root of all evil" passages. They're far more in love with capitalism than they ever were with Jesus.
...meanwhile, in Soviet Britain...:

...Liberals troll you .
Better not come to the UK then, Last Fart. For even though the above £10 note will be replaced - with a different design on the back of such - those £2 coins will still be in circulation, and still legal tender.
Like crucifixes to vampires, those coins will make you piss your pants. No 'God' required here. >:D
@Raspberry
"What's up with all the violent rhetoric lately ?"
Oh, just ignore them. They're just pissy at the huge increase in their laundry bills. Due to their impotent flailing around not bending Reality to their will, post-late 2012, they keep pissing their pants. >:D
@Ebon

No, they still say it. They just don't believe it.
Yeesh! The only words Law Enforcement should have on their vehicles are "POLICE", "SHERIFF", Department initials or stuff like "To Serve And Protect". Nothing more.
Like a couple of commenters here, I'd love to mess with paper money, too. Cross out "In God We Trust" and replace with The USA's REAL MOTTO, E PLURIBUS UNUM .
Or write IN LIBERAS WE TRUST! SHE is America's Genius Loci, not Bible-God!
Damn, I was hoping for a FSTDT shoutout.
@Say what?
Surely you've heard of Robert La Follette, former give of Wisconsin? The famous progressive? Guy was a Baptist.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
