So it sounds like you think the Nuremberg Laws are just the coolest things ever. Of course, that sort of thing leads to complete racial segregation and then it leads to genocide. Slippery slope? Maybe, but recent history is rather conclusive.
If your community is so fragile and tense that the addition of a single outsider would bring it such pain, why does it exist? Who does it serve?
I'm sure that's what your son will think when he leaves to pursue his own life choices instead of yours.
Says interfaith marriage will hurt the individual, the parents, and the faithful as a whole. Says to drop the potential marriage, and if it hurts that's too bad. Justifies it by saying that morality requires willingness to accept hurt?
Does that make them immoral for NOT accepting the marriage and taking the pain?
Perhaps it does. The fatal flaw in your logic, however, is that "intermarriage" (how I hate that nonsense term) is not immoral. Nor, for that matter, would it be hurting your whole people, you fucking drama queen.
