I feel sorry for older women (e.g. as interviewed by Sylvia Ann Hewlett) who’ve come to the overdue realization that feminist brainwashing has cheated them out of children and a husband. But I feel no sympathy for Maureen Dowd types who are incapable of introspection by age 50. She doesn’t understand that her confused ideology is what’s left her alone.

Interesting. I studied Feminist Literature for a few years and there wasn't a single "brainwashing" moment at all. There was nothing about man-hating, nothing about women being superior, nor was there anything about not having a husband or children.
It was actually a lot more about looking at things from an equal point of view.
So I have no sympathy for genetic knuckle-dragger fuckers who have to demonize anything that threatens their small penis issue.
Now go fuck yourself.
It still amazes me that we've invented a way for people to communicate instantly while being thousands of kilometers away, where knowledge and research is just a few keystrokes away, and yet people can still be this goddamn rock-fucking stupid.
Not all women want children. Not all women want husbands. Not all women want sex. Just like not all men like sports, not all men like big boobs, nor do all men cherish the scent of Axe Body-Spray like you do, douchebag.
I can't get how a person like this one can be raised by their parents, hopefully loving parents, and yet still come away ignorant of the fact that WOMEN ARE PEOPLE TOO. Get over your teenage hormones and learn to fucking coexist.
The SMV of a woman rises from puberty and peaks around mid 20's then declines noticeably after she turn 30. She is said to have hit the wall.
Therefore the SMV of a woman is given by birth and her achievements in life does little to increase it.
It is also noteworthy that a previously attractive woman going into her 30's will have an SMV comparable to a mediocre girl in her early 20's.
Not all women want to be married with no jobs and a litter of children. For that matter, not all men want to be the sole provider for their families and many like me don't want kids, either.
Your little nuclear family fantasy doesn't appeal to every person, you know.
Without feminism, men would be just as much oppressed by gender roles as women are. Do you support male gender roles as well? Do you think a man should be shamed if he cries? Do you believe that crippled men who can't work are scum who should be executed? There is a bigger reason than morality for why many men are feminists. In an oppresive society, everyone suffers.
My decision to not marry and have kids had nothing to do with feminism and more to do with growing up in a large family, having so-called "helicopter parents" and being nearly 30 before I ever got a moment's peace and quiet to myself. It's either because or in spite of that that I've become a highly private person who loves solitude.
Not everything has to be about ideology.
From Ms Hewlett's Wikipedia page, it seems she's led a full and interesting life.
Almost all the women I know are "victims" of "feminist brainwashing", and most of them have both husband (or wife) and children. All feminism can "brainwash" you into is the knowledge that you don't HAVE to have a husband and children, to be a real woman.
Nobody is sorry for people like Elliott rodger, who killed people because, thanks to guys like you, grew to be like an entitled bastard
Don't even pretend your ultra conservative anti-feminist shit hasn't left many of you breeders alone in your autumn years as well.
As the Tea-party represents: "Guarantee our SS and Medicare and the Hell with our children and grandchildrens". There's a definite obvious estrangement inherent there.
@Vifibi
Even as a teenager, I knew these types of people existed, saw many of the types of things they said, and wept for my faith in humanity the whole way through.
Confused?
