Quote# 65886My Thoughts on Don't Ask, Don't Tell
The core of this issue has nothing to do with rights or even homosexuals. This is about the Progressives and their malignant hatred of the American Military. The Progressive movement never liked the Military, because the Military clashes directly with the selfish, childish mindset of the Progressive: the 'I' mentality. I've had a chance to get to know members of our Military, from inside my own family to my time talking to retiree soldiers and soldiers in training on my campus. When they say 'serve your country', they mean it. Your personal ideology and opinions ceases to exist when you put on that uniform because it's not about that and more importantly it's not about you. It's about the country and the Corps, or the Navy, or the Air Force, or the Army. Progressives cannot stand that type of thinking because it dismisses their intellectual idiocy of putting their own desires above anything else, even common sense.
It's not enough for people who think like this to serve their nation. They want to serve with "conditions". They want to serve while being treated like royalty. What Progressives and their homosexual pawns want is not for the Military to be 'Open', they're trying to get the Military to bow down and kiss their feet. Oh, and on a sidenote to all of the Progressives reading this, try saying that to the face of a Marine, or an Army Ranger, or a Navy SEAL that they need to fall in line to those demands. I would be very interested to see what happens to you and will be ready to clean up whatever is left you.
The Military is never going to bend to this issue because they see past the cotton-candy 'equal rights' spin the Progressives have given it, which ironically makes them even bigger villains in the eyes of the Progressives. Our Armed Forces are the best among us. They deserve whatever consideration we can give them and more. They know a live grenade when they see one and have been as tolerant as possible, but it's not good enough for the Progressives. Which is why I'm on the side of the Military.
You can call me a homophobe all you like: I don't care. This issue has, and always been, a political grenade designed to damage the American Military. The Progressives will not stop until the Military is on their knees or completely stained in the public eye and it is up to us, those of us who live and breathe freely because of their sacrifice, to stand in their defense.
